I also wish people would not hold the Chuck trading Blair for a hotel thing over his head all of the time. People always forget Blair was the one willing to go to Jack.

And with all of the money Lily has from all of her divorces and her shares in the Bass company she could have paid off Blair’s dowry.

Blair use to be my favorite as well but not anymore. I use to like her because she was so driven whether it was a scheme or her being determined to get into an Ivy League school. She always wanted to be the best of the best as well. I just hope this show gets back to Blair being a strong independent powerful woman again.

I also hope Nate gets a story line not always revolving around hooking up with the new guest star. I hope Serena becomes the focal point of the show again. I am tried of watching the Blair Waldorf show.

Let me preface this by saying that I’m in full agreement that Blair’s character has been assassinated, and the sharp, witty, confident young woman last seen in season 4 is not here. It does dim the brightness of any pairing she would be participating in. I like the bouncy funny banter she has with Dan and #101 looks like a sparkling example, but I hope it end with some Blair character rebuilding or it’s wasted.

That said, I completely disagree with Brittany. Chuck and Blair have had a more destructive relationship than she has with Louis. Louis did not cheat, he was excited to marry her despite her paternity test, test-kissing Chuck, running away with Chuck, and hiding out with Dan. The GG blast video was the last straw. He still did not lay a hand on her. He may in the future, but certainly not in #100.

Comparatively, including: the stupid Empire State Building if-you-love-me demand; window punching; “Raina is sacred”; the dating fatwa; popping the question while Jenny changes the bloody sheets in the next room; and the indecent proposal for the hotel with Jack, Chuck has often treated her like property. I can’t believe that is a healthy relationship for Blair. I used to like the evil couple, but those actions eroded my consent until I nearly stopped watching.

I also think that she ran to Dan simply because, mid-freakout, she could only think of everyone who interrupted or offered their opinion of the wedding. Serena telling Chuck of the holy vow. Her mother bringing Chuck, and his whole speech- which became the damning evidence consigning the royal marriage to a sham. The person who didn’t disrupt, and who Louis just admitted understood her more than most people, was Dan. He’s also been a continual solace when the chips are down, dating back to Bad News Blair in season 1, if you must. So, she ran with the least intrusive.

I think Blair got just desserts and I don’t want Dan to be an enabler- he better show some backbone and get her to confront the others soon. That said, I see her immediate reasoning.

Finally, I think Georgina posted the video herself. It’s her way to plant the thought that one of them did it, to watch them destroy each other with blame and scheming. It would also be twisted irony.

Not a Filler Episode. Recently GG has been slacking and been slow. This episode Was amazing and i was speechless when done watching. Now i hope they dont slack off for the rest of the season!!!

Blair Calling Dan at the last moment. Out of everyone she knows, she called dan why? Surprised as you guys said not Chuck or Serena or even damn her mother.

I have actually lost interest in the Charlie/Ivy Story so i felt like that shouldn’t of been in the segment and should’ve given time for Blair and Nate to Reminisce at maybe Constance. Her going there on her wedding day, and remembering who she was in love with at the time, since she planned on getting married to Nate.

Serena would just try to make her do, what ever SHE thinks is write. And i her mind she vowed to never be wih chuck again, otherwise he would get in “danger”

Anyway, how can you be so sure, that dan send the blast..? did i miss something, and there was actually prove in the episode that he did it, or are you just speculating? because i was totally sure it was serena. I mean she said she’d done something horrible and telling chuck was rather good then bad. And serena is just the only person, where i know she is capable of doing something like that. Naive thinking, it’ll do good.

And Geoginas sheme was just bad. How is she to not lock the door, and only let people in, who are supposed to.

seriously though, WHAT THE FUDGESICLES. Finally they got rid of Bluis once and for all (and what a horrible man he is. Never thought I’d say it but I’m glad she won’t have his children!) but the they pull DAIR out of the bag?! As well as a jealous S?!

Chair is endgame guys. It WILL happen, but until next week, I am dying. It’s legit. My heart cannot contain this anymore.

Glad “Inside” is a hit agin. I’m not sure how that happend from Twitter… I guess Katy Perry has a lot of power in the literary world.

I’m not a fan of a romantic Dair relationship but I love these two together and tonight really solidified that. Dan putting aside his feelings and wants for Blair’s happiness was really great to see and I now have a renewed sense of love for the guy. This is more that I can say for Serena however.

At first I believed Serena was for team Louis because she wanted Dan AND because she actually believed Louis would make Blair happy. But the more I thought about it, doesn’t Serena know how Louis treated Blair and all that he’s done? I know Chuck isn’t the greatest person in Serena’s eyes and I could see why she would push for Louis but as the episode went on I realised she was more for anyone who wasn’t Dan.
How sad, really? Your best friend? I get that Dan is the best thing to walk into your life, but really? You’re going to push this jealous, possessive and controlling misguided fool on your friend to get him back? Really? I was not impressed. Serena continues to be dead to me.

As does Charlie/Ivy. I still don’t care about this story line. I know she won’t be gone for good (she’s a season regular) and her mini confession to Rufus won’t mean much in the long run. The only thing that interested me was Max and whatever he did with Trip in attempt to take down Chivy.

Now, I’m assuming Trip payed Max to tamper with the car that Nate was supposed to be in. This is kind of a stretch but I can believe that Tripp could be THAT desperate (he ran off on his wife with Serena, he’s obviously not all there). I guess Tripp payed Max a generous amount and then skipped town. What I don’t get is how this ties in with Max wanting to get back at Chivy? I hope this will be explained in January because I’m not getting it.
Moving on with this conundrum, Nate and Chuck & Blair get into the wrong cars (the dangers of having chauffeur) leaving Chair to be chased by the paparazzi in a tampered car. The last 20 minutes of the episode felt very Diana and Dodi (I had a mild obsession with the “People’s Princess” a few years back) especially when the car crashes, SHOCKER!
Now Blair loses the baby, not said, but we all know and Chuck’s status is unknown, but it’s not good.

Obviously the man’s not going to die but whatever the outcome, it is going to interfere with our Chair bliss. I’m a Chair fan and their reunion didn’t quite feel like the BIG reunion I’ve been waiting for. It was reminiscent of when they got together at the end of last season, it was just too easy. I knew this wasn’t it, so now I’m wondering what’s next. There still is a wedding… unless it’s not Louis she’s marrying. But then why does she run away… Dan? I don’t know but I do know if the GG writers pull an amnesia kind of story line, I will turn off my tv and just walk away. I wouldn’t be able to cope.

The last thing I want to mention is this Diana/ Jack thing. At first I believed they were actually behind this whole “accident” and was irate. After thinking a bit I remembered that Diana has some sort of connection to Chuck, or at least Bart. The only other person who would know of this secret (other than Grandpapa I guess) would be Jack Bass. Somehow the results of tonight’s episode fall into plan with whatever these two are hiding. I’m intrigued. for now.

All in all, I’m really satisfied with this episode. And it’s got me looking forward to 2012. I figure the CW wants me to be on edge about the state of Chuck’s mortality but I can assure them I won’t be losing sleep, wondering if he’ll live or not. What I am looking forward to is:
- What Tripp and Max’s agreement was (if it was anything more)
- This Diana/ Jack thing that Grandpapa may or may not know about (the woman could more than one secret I suppose)
- Does Grandpapa have an ulterior motive, he usually does
- What happens when everyone finds out Chivy sent the blast to GG (prob nothing, since she’s “untouchable”)
- What happens when they learn the car was tampered with (I assume there will be an investigation… but then again this is GG, so…)
- Of course the future of Dair (friendship, sorry) and Chair… don’t care much for… Lair?
- What will happen with Dan’s hair?
- Will Serena ever get a soul?

Onward to 2012!!

I also want to add that this REALLY should be the last season of this show. It’s all wrapping up (somewhat) nicely and another season would just drag on what really doesn’t need to be, and in the end ruin the show.
