Does Blake Lively want off Gossip Girl?

The rumor mill is rolling, but could it be true. Does Blake Lively want to quite Gossip Girl for a movie career? And will the show be the same without Serena van der Woodsen?

She’s tired of working on the show. It was great at the beginning, but she’s started to get bored of her story lines and all the petty fights on set.

According to the article, Blake wants Serena killed off of the show in a dramatic manner, maybe a suicide story line.

Execs aren’t convinced they’ll let her go but ideas have been thrown around. Suicide is one, though it’s likely to be an accident.

Now these are just rumors, Blake has no commented on this story which leaves some suspicions out on the table. The only problem with Serena van der Woodsen not being on Gossip Girl is, there will be no Gossip Girl without her.

The whole story revolves around Serena and Blair’s relationship and their world so without her there would be an empty place.
