Emmy Fashion: Hot or Not?

Last night at the Emmy’s the statues weren’t the only things shinning. Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were both in attendance and not only walked the red carpet but presented an award together.  And while its hard for either girl to ever be a real fashion don’t, I have to admit the outfits they showed up in last night had not just me but many other fashion lovers puzzled.

Leighton choose a white Bottega Veneta gown with Cathy Waterman accessories, while Blake wore a red Versace dress with her hair in a braid/ponytail combo. Most of the time the girls look stunning and know just what to wear, but I can’t help but agree when critics are saying they both got it wrong last night.

    I thought they looked great. And Blake looked better than her last fiasco when her dress was a little bit too small. Blake hit it out of the park with that dress. Not many people could pull it off but she wore it well. I didn’t really understand what they both were doing with their hair though. And where were Penn and Sebastian?

    I really liked Leighton’s look but Blake’s looked really whore-ish. I bet Dave loved it :P

    I think they both looked pretty good. Leighton’s hair is okay, but why is Blake’s hair always in that stupid tight ponytail? Neither of them look their best, but they didn’t look completely horrible. And of course Blake looked whore-ish. She plays Serena, its like in her job description to always look like a whore. :)
