“It was hash actually. I find it gives a softer high.”
Jack then comes into the meeting late because he says he’s Chuck’s guardian. Blair still takes control of the meeting and says Chuck can’t be held accountable for his actions because he’s going through a hard time. The Headmistress says she would let it go he promises nothing like this would happen again, but Chuck pulls out another joint and walks out. Jack seems to be amused and with a smirk on his face asks how long the suspension will be.

“Was that it? Or were you going to tell me you loved me again?”
Blair then asks him why did he even come back.

Serena is upset.
“Your’e going to abandon him for some society matrons.” – Serena
Dan goes to see Chuck at Victrola. He asks Chuck to tell him what he knows. Chuck agrees because he buried the arsen story on his father and telling him would make them even. He tells Dan about the child and he thnks Rufus must have just found out about it. Dan is about to walk away when Chuck says when Serena finds out it will be over for them.
“Shaing a sibling, that’s a little too much. Even for me.”
Spotted at Victrola: Lonely boy and Chuck Bass having a heart to heart. What or who do they have to talk about? And will Serena be the last to know?
Blair is meeting with the Colony Club. They are an older group of ladies. They tell Blair the members of the group are “known by the company they keep” and they ask if that was Serena van der Woodsen they saw on their way out. “I see her quite a bit of her on Page Six. And quite a bit of her.” She says it was, but says they use to be friends, but they aren’t anymore. They look pleased and go on to talk about Bart and then Chuck. They say Bart is new money and what happened to him (being hit by a car) was “a mercy kill”. They also say Chuck is a piece of work and that’s where she draws the line. She admits to being friends with them and says she has to leave because he needs her help. They all look shocked.
Jenny is at the party too. Jenny inacts her plan to use their secrets against them and it works. Penelope gives in and tells her Jenny is now in charge. But Jenny says that’s not what she wanted; she just wanted them to treat Nelly better. But they said Nelly could be out of the group; Nelly doesn’t want that though. Nelly thought when Jenny returned to school she wanted to be head of the group and was hoping their would be a regime change. Nelly was playing Jenny for her own benefit.
At the party, Eric tries to talk to Chuck, but he’s not really listening. Eric asks him how was Thailand, but Chuck says he honestly doesn’t remember it. Chuck grabs a bottle of alcohol for a view from above. He then tells Eric “Nice having you as my little brother.”
Rufus goes to tell Lily that Dan probably knows about the child and wil probably tell Serena. Lily says she’s afraid Serena and Eric will hate her. She just wasn’t ready to have a baby. Rufus tells her he’s not upset she gave the baby up, he’s upset she didn’t tell him about it.
Dan finds Serena at Victorla and wants to talk to privately. Dan is about to tell Serena, but he gets a call form Rufus. He tells him they are going to look for the child together. One thing about being on top of the world; it gives you a long long way to fall.
Blair finds Chuck drinking and walking on the ledge of the building. Jack yells his name and Chuck stumbles. Blair is upset and calls Jack an idiot for screaming Chuck’s name while his on the ledge and obviously drunk. Chuck says he doesn’t have any reason to be around anymore.
“I’m Chuck Bass, who cares!”
Blair says she’ll always be there for him. She cares and wouldn’t want anything to happen to him. She looks at Chuck and finally sees him. She helps him down and they hug. Jack says he’s going to take care of Chuck, but Blair doesn’t trust him. When Chuck is out of ear distance, Blair says Chuck can’t find out what happened on New Years Eve.
Oh me, the year’s just turned and already the secrets have begun. Where will it end this time? The new year is about what happened, it’s about what is to come. But the past is always with us, ust waiting to mess with the present. And when it does…I’ll be watching.
