This week on Gossip Girl it seems like everyone is exposed. Someone finally exposes Serena as the great friend she really is when Serena throws a Tiffany themed bridal shower for Blair. Chivy is too busy trying to fight off ex-boyfriend Max so he doesn’t expose her secret. Nate chooses not to expose the secrets of Gossip Girl, but too bad Louis deemed it necessary to do so. Diana is forced to take the fall for something she didn’t do which completely ruins her relationship with Nate. And of course Grandpapa thinks it’s best that it ends now anyway so no one finds out Diana’s true secret. Chuck exposes Dan’s deepest secret of being in love with Blair. The two spent the day together because neither of them was invited to the shower, but Dan decides to go awol and crash the party. But Chuck comes in and saves the day to help Blair out. Blair finally exposes Louis for the bad man he really is when he tries to get her distance herself from her friends and her New York life. Which comes just in time for Blair to find out the truth about Chuck: he’s been good all the time.
So Scandalous
Louis returns with a gift for Blair claiming to come back a better man, but then tells her that she needs to make sacrifices for their relationship like he did…which means her friends must go. Louis: “It’s about the sacrifices you make for your partner.”
Chivy lying yet again so she won’t get caught. Don’t you think it’s time that she gets caught? Charlie: You never know who you can trust or what people’s true motives are, you know?
Dan really drinking form Chucks flash and crashing Blair’s shower. Dan: “As you can tell by my casual attire, I’m crashing this party.”
Louis ruining Blair’s bridal shower by sending the Gossip Girl sources link to The Spectator, how could he? Blair: “It was more important for you to prove your point than our shower.”
Now that Gossip Girl’s sources have been revealed we find out that Blair sent in tips to Gossip Girl about Penelope’s shrine to Nate, Kati’s excess hair issue and Columbia minion going commando at communion.
And the minions were surprised that Blair sent in all those tips? How many tips did they send in? Plus Blair was right: “Oh come on, you’ve all said more slanderous things than Jon Galliano after a couple cocktails.”
Chuck just found out Dan is in love with Blair, what will come of this and will Blair ever find out? Chuck: “We both lost. At least this time you have someone on the outside with you.”
Diana and William have a secret? But what could it be? Diana: Remember one thing William, if they find out about me, they find out about you too?”
Max decides to stay on the Upper East Side for awhile, but he needs more money than $50,000; he’s needs $500,000 to “play with” while he’s in town.
So Sweet
Serena planning a bridal shower for her BFF Blair. Blair:”…Serena is my best friend and she knows what I like better than anyone else.”
We get to see the mini gossip’s again. It’s always good to see them and this time giving Chuck a hard time.
Dan and Chuck get stoned and watch the Matrix. Chuck: “Something I learned early on, never watch the Clockwork Orange while stoned. It takes your mind to places it has no business going.”
I love how Chuck is always spending time with Monkey, he really loves that dog.
Chuck giving Dan advice to “become a man of action.”
A call back to the Season 2 finale, when Jonathan hacked into the Gossip Girl’s server, it’s nice to know they stay consistent.
Nate is a stand-up guy. He deserves more credit and he never posted anything to Gossip Girl.
Lily is keeping up the charade of a very casual party to Blair on the phone. Lily: “No she’s out getting dessert for the party. Hawaiian shaved ice with all the best flavors, including everyone’s favorite tutti fruity.”
Serena threw Blair a Tiffany’s themed Bridal Shower. Blair: “This isn’t causal at all. It’s witty, it’s elegant…” Louis: It’s you.”
Chuck Bass saving Dan from hopefully making a fool of himself. Chuck: “Let’s be clear. I told you to get some ass, not make one of yourself.”
Chuck having a heart to heart with Dan about his feelings. Who know these two would get this far?
Blair and Serena having a heart to heart while eating cake. We need more scenes like this.
Serena: “If you would have stopped talking and just gotten on your knees, I probably would have already said yes.” Not sweet but oh so funny!
Blair finally realizing Chuck has been good this whole time. Is she having second thoughts about Chuck now?
Chuck taking care of a drunk Dan. The old Chuck would never do such a thing. It is so good to see him growing and changing.
So Not Real
Really? Blair has no idea what Serena is doing in her room? They share a bathroom. Blair would have some idea.
Blair thinking Louis won’t spend time with is family? That is his family after all.
Blair has yet to show. She should have some type of bump. But wait, how far along is Blair?
Blair really listening to her minions as to what Serena is planning for her. When does Blair ever listen to her minions?
The writers claiming Nate would have an interesting storyline this season, all he is doing is banging a cougar and sitting behind a desk.
When is Blair ever this gullible; she is always on top of things and in control. She would have put off a Gossip Girl blast to find out what Serena was up to.
Diana really decided to not post the Gossip Girl sources because she found out Nate did not send in a tip to Gossip Girl. And it took her this long to figure out that Nate really is good buy. Hasn’t he been dropping these hints all season?
Where was Dorota? Wouldn’t she have been invited to the party?
Wait? Nate gets to take over The Spectator. Isn’t he supposed to be barely going to class at Columbia? How quickly we have forgotten college on Gossip Girl.
