My faith has been restored!!!! The story was actually driven by the main characters and everyone was involved… I’m really liking Nate and Jenny, loved the fact that Eric got dumped, and Chuck was wearing purple!!! all is right in the world!
A pretty solid GG episode. It first time in a while I wasn’t left wondering to myself if I actually got anything out of the episode i just watched. BUT, that obviously didn’t happen tonight!!
I could go on for days about what happened but that really would take a very long time, so I’ll make it brief.
-The whole Trena (Tripp/ Serena) thing is quite annoying. I don’t know if it’s her stupidity, his lop sided facial features or the fact that he’s a MARRIED CONGRESSMAN that had me annoyed but I hope they squash this soon.
- ERIC had some form of a story line, bless my gay lil bro i never had. He will put personality dysfunctional Jenny in her place.
-THREESOME wasn’t as “racy” as anticipated, though i wasn’t fully surprised. Looking forward to seeing how that plays out next episode, hoping GG writers won’t just gloss over it like they do with a lot of stuff.
- What was up with jenny’s dress, the finger cloves, the incorrect cup size, the dead crow? Jenny has money now so I don’t know what her excuse is.

Thank you, to the cw my faith in the gossip girl has been restored. After going through slowed paced episodes and decent story-lines from the past episodes. I am glad GG is back to itself from the backstabbing, to chucks comments “if you two wanna kiss i wouldn’t count it as cheating, to upcoming family drama, love triangles or _(insert shape here)__, the upcoming scandals and etc. Any ways, who knew DAN had it in him….well never mind he did go from Serena 3x,Ms.Carr to Georgina to Oliva to Oliva/Vannessa.(Hmmm if you think about it Vanessa has slept with all the main cast of guys on gossip girl… not including Rufus then again i wasn’t surprised who the 3 people were.How obvious could the writers be “15 things to do before college”.Moving on I did feel bad for Eric when Johnathan broke up with him… But Johnthan did like NATE last season “Your the the person who I thought you were”. Any ways I think J and E and just suffering early stages of sibling rivalry. But still doesn’t justify their arrogance and backtabbing with each other. Actually happy Serena/Blair made up even though they barely fought for episodes, but that storyline is over used and just bleh. Speaking of Serena…her and Tripp?I highly…doubt it or it could be another upcoming love triangle…plus can she handle love shapes when her father just wrote back. Depends on what lily is going to do? Could it be the cliche “yes your father has been trying to make contact with you but ive been doing in everything in my power to keep it from you” or is it “your father just wrote you a letter”….dun dun dun. Any ways i’m babbling cant wait for the PODCAST…..
I think the parent’s council won … that was the tamest “threesome” ever. That was really more like a game of spin the bottle. I have a feeling that the CW caved and cut stuff out; because there is no way that they would have given that much hype to THAT threesome scene. Quite frankly I wouldn’t have wanted to see any more of Dan/Vanessa/Olivia. They just don’t do it for me really … It was akward, they are all awkward characters.
Solid episode though! I got a little taste of the “old Chuck”, you know, the slightly pervy one we all came to love (what does that say about us viewers though, that we love a perv like that?). He had solid dialogue this episode, which I knew a Lost Weekend would bring back! I thought the other stories were great, very classic Gossip Girl, I am really excited that something is happening with Serena’s father! That was an unexpected twist I greatly enjoyed (because they didn’t freaking release spoilers about it months ago).
They have been previewing and releasing spoilers so much this season that even things that would be an OMG moment, you don’t get when actually watching the show. You get them two months before when you hear the spoiler on Access Hollywood, so it just ruins the surprise. They HAVE had some great twists and surprises this season, but we all knew they were coming since episode one, so it seemed like old news by the time we watched it happen. I want them to stop releasing so much! It would make the stories seem fresher, like the Serena’s father thing this episode.
I also have to say that many fans are very vocal about the lack of Blair and Chuck, and while I am a HUGE C&B fan (I refuse to combine couple names, ever) I think the show has struck a good balance for them. The two are obviously keeping it hot, but off screen, which I think is more of a concession the CW and writers are making for parent’s groups issues than a reflection of the relationship between the characters. Obviously it sucks to see the producers not use the awesome screen chemistry the two actors have, but I really don’t perceive the lack of steamy scenes between C&B as them becoming a boring or settled couple. He’s Chuck Bass, and she’s just ridiculously hot (and has the best collection of lingerie anyone has ever seen, if we remember seasons 1 and 2). I think it’s all as hot and sexy as we all knew it would be, but CW has lost it taste for pushing prime-time boundaries and us viewers are left to our imaginations.
Unfortunately for us, television has rotted our brains and destroyed our imaginations … show us something!
Ok I loved this weeks episode finally gossip girl and the bitcyness is back! Little J’s storyline is the best this season I love it I would kill for a Jenny spin off. Now on to the yeah WTF moments what was that with Blair and Serena can you say pathetic? Why can these two not have a full blown cat fight Alexis Carrington fight I want back stabbing with those two hello cw? Now that threesome um yeah nice to see miss duff slut it up but were was the skanky ness the omf3 moment now i know it’s broadcast tv but maybe a little something more? Like cloths on the floor a steamed mirror something! Overall good episode cute fashion so I give this episode 4.75 thramp stamps out of 5 ps i miss old Blair not weak Blair seems like gossip girls labels did stick for every one Nate included
