Honestly, this episode ruined gossip girl for me. Having Blair on the phone with Chuck and telling him she wants him to wait for her and protect Dan was painful and made my heart break for Chuck. The worst part was Blair walking up to Dan, staring at Serena, and not caring enough about her feelings to walk away and not kiss him. I don’t know how they can bring Chuck and Blair back together after everything and that sucks because they have carried the show. #frustration

At this point, Blair doesn’t deserve Chuck or Serena in her life.

U people need to get over it. Chair has been on and off for four years now. Finally, it’s Dair time and you might as well roll with it because it¡s here 2 stay (sidenote: probably not, probably gonna be over by next ep, but I’m cool with it because, unlike Bluck fans, my love of the show doesn’t hang on one relationship).
Now that that’s out of the way, I liked the episode, but I was expecting so much more for the Chivy exposure, but instead got this two minnutes moment, that apparently didn’t matter at all since Carol was still in the hospital after it hit the fan. In the words of the legendary Tyson “Gossip Girl did it again. Every time you built something up gossip girl writers you always give us the lamest explanation ever”

@ manny tyson quote, lol..:) i totally agree with you.

it just annoyed me, that the first dair kiss, was, of course, not real and just staged. gg always does that, it is sooooo annoying.

the charlie stuff was really weird….:(

    liked the episode overall

and btw, people are always talking about how much blair chanced, well here’s something that has been constant: blair being in denial. she’s has done that with her feelings for chuck and with her pregnancy and so on and on…..

Hi guys, it’s my first post here although I’ve been listening your podcast from the very beginning. Sorry for my English but I have to vent it somewhere, hahaha…
Let’s see, I never was a “shipper” but what they have been doing with these characters it’s too much! I now this is only a TV show but I realized that “everybody with everybody” is not working for me anymore. Blair “insecure” and “undecided” and still in loveless marriage, Chuck’s jealousy and now intention to ruin Dan, who one day woke up and fell in love with a friend. It’s simply too much.
Then we have this stupid Chivy story. Mother that protected her! From what? Money? At least I thought it would be something more: no Charley, sick child, adoption, something! And then we have Serena always so rude then when she finds out more she starts to apologize and everything is “magically” OK.
Well, it’s been a nice ride but I believe I’m off… take care and continue with a great podcast!

The thing I was most upset with in this episode was the blow up of the chivy/lola thing. I expected more.

But I think the story isn’t over. It’s the beginning of the end, but not the end of the story.

That’s true, but I guess I expected more out of the reveal.. But I’m interested to see how it continues.. :-)
