    ok… so now that you’ve all scene it I can talk about it… I felt UBER-GYPPED!!! and the whole thing didn’t work because for the Lily storyline they needed to do a whole lot of exposition while at the prom it was all action (and totally rushed action at that). And the 80s scene was totally messed up- instead of making the set look like a real 80s show they apparently took out the box at the studio that said “80s crap” and just threw it around. Did we really need that scene of Lily modeling the neon aerobic outfit? I would have much preffered a scene of Chuck getting a first glance at Blair when she walked into prom.

    What a waste of an episode. Proms are usually my favourite things about teen dramas and instead of focusing on that, we got hang out with Lily in the 80s. So stupid and pointless.

    I can’t believe they wasted the prom episode on the Valley Girls tie in. I understand that it needs to go somewhere – but the PROM EPISODE!!! I am so disappointed. GG is not the show it used to be. I didn’t start watching until the middle of the second season. I rented the 1st season on dvd and was hooked. Now, I don’t even get some of the plot points (i.e. the Eyes Wide Shut Chuck story). And when is the last time these kids went to school! I can’t even remember the last episode where they were. The name of the show is Gossip Girl – when was the last Gossip Girl update. That was one of my favorite things – when everyone would pull out their phone and read the latest scandal. Did the show get new writers? What has happened to my fave show?

    THAT WAS THE PROM!!!!!!!! are you kidding me. First off, the flashbacks really had no effect on the story at all… boring. And the 80′s characters REALLY REALLY blew, i mean seriously, was there one character anyone liked (not because of a previous show they were on?)
    Second, if the bitch was back, why didnt she get even a second of screen time? And the Blair, Nate, Chuck was WAY rushed. Damn, we didnt even get to see anyone really dance, the motivies in Nelly’s plan, Dan breaj Serinna out….. AHHHHH

    I am giving this episode 1.9 ÜBER bad prom episodes out of 10
    very disappointed

    Let me sum up this episode with one word; AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWW!

    from the beginning:
    the lily (BE=blue eyed) scenes were boh-ring!
    they had nothing to do with the actual story line and you didn’t get what was happening. so, lily BE was in LA, where she searched her sister, met rufus, fell in love with him and stayed at her sister’s. IF they really wanted it in the episode, you could have made it about 10 min, when lily BE tells serena about her past. or anyting like that. then, the Lufus scene was boh-ring, too.

    my favourite scene was the blair/dorota scene, because dorota was so cute and the dress so pretty and the jewelery so cute and blair’s book s sweet and aaaaaaaaawwwwwwww. i just love blair!
    she made the right decision!
    can’t wait till:

    Blair- I want to beilive you, Chuck, but I can’t. You’ve hurt me to many times.
    Chuck- You can beilive me this time.
    Blair- Why?
    He looks at her; human, real, vulnerable.
    Chuck- Beacuse I’m not Chuck Bass without you.
    Blair- Uh.. That’s it?
    There is a moment then..
    ~He kisses her~
    It was the perfect kiss, the kind they used to fear when they were in the game
    They break and,
    Chuck- I love you, Blair.
    Blair smiles and jumps into his arms.
    Blair- Can you say it again?

    OK so after rewatching it, I really liked it. At first, I was pissed because of the whole idea of the spinoff and that we didn’t get a proper Prom episode but I really liked it and would probably watch the spin-off.
    Brittany Snow’s eyes are amazing. That’s like, the only reason why, haha. I hate Kelly Rutherford so that’s probably why I didn’t want it.

    OMG COCO! You made me so excited for that scene (even more than I already was)!

    I LOVED Chuck, of course, but I didn’t like the episode overall. I definitely won’t be watching the new show. Young Lily’s even worse than old Lily!!

    I hated Valley Girls so much!!!! What a waste of an episode.I hate young and old lily why Do they waterboard me with the charcters I hate ? Nelly Yuki WTF when is someone going to take that bitch down Im so sick of her trying to pull scemes that never work.You are not Blair!! thats why they fail.Serena once again just showed she is the dumbest girl in New York,I’m going to stay in prison to show my mom she was wrong to put me in prison but I’m going to call my grandmother.Hello Serena you could have used that for your advantage get Lily written out the Will or some other awesome revenge sceme.God i miss Gossip Girl not this wierd Oc spin off.
    P.S Jesus if the bitch is back where is she ?

    Strangely,I liked everything in this episode.The spinoff scenes were well acted,the fashion and music blended in well.I might actually watch the spinoff,I like Brittany Snow more than Kelly Rutherford as an actress.I know I moaned about the spinoff on Twitter,I take what said back.It could work as a mini series.

    The prom scenes were great.Chuck was so sweet in this episode.But, is that really in his character? I knew N and B would break up.Serena and Dan need to find new people to date away from each other.Older Lily annoys me so much but I guess shes supposed to be like her Mother.

    Overall I give this ep 4 high school boyfriends out of five

    ummm guys? did i miss something or was there a prom episode last year. juniors always go to prom too! i don’t get what the big deal is, unless fancy schools only have senior prom… i don’t get it! i like how it was only one episode, i like the realish time aspect of the show and wouldn’t want more than one episode dedicated to prom… that is why i like this show, it is not another teen drama! it is unrealistic nonsense! except i would like continuity with the nonsense, please? i’ll give you a cookie writers! i know you don’t have that much money for food, writers strike last year anyone? maybe this is their way of revolting… 3 episode stories. makes sense to me!
