Good Girls Go Bad

Today’s On-Air with Ryan Seacrest podcast for 102.7 KIIS FM featured the world premiere of Leighton Meester’s combo with Cobra Starship “Good Girls Go Bad”. Ryan does an interview with the Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi (who co-wrote the song), where she describes Leighton as Gwen Steffani. Ryan called it the summer jam.

It’s interesting. I’m not fan of the Cobra Starship, I feel like I’ve heard this before with HelloGoodbye and the 900 other similar acts that meet the criteria of AutoTune to the max, but the Leighton part is actually really interesting. But then again, I am biased.

    I love the song! I’m a massive fan of Cobra Starship and when I heard they were doing a song with Leighton, I literally said “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!” for 10 minutes. Haha, but yeah, I think it’s really good and Leighton has an amazing voice, definitely wasn’t what I was expecting out of her. I pictured her has a Hilary Duff wannabee or something.

    ya know what i grew up watching Lizzie McGuire, so i gotta say i really like Hilary Duff, kind of like i like Shia LaBouf! but you know what I liked them before they were even that popular, so there! … my favorite movie is also parent trap, though… compare Hilary Duff and Lindsey Lohan? woah Labouf and Duff ryhme! ha. ya know what else i like Britney too and it is not cool to like her anymore… so chuck in that WOMANIZER VIDEO WAS AWESOME. funny that ed westwick made me like britney again! i also loved nsync AND backstreet boys too, so wow my taste in music is funny. and blair in that Keeps Gettin Better was good too!
