Gossip Girl Line Is Continuing On
Remember yesterday when everyone was reporting that Target pulled out of the Gossip Girl inspired line? All of that was a lie. The New York Daily News article was apparently false because Target executives say the deal is still on.
A representative for the mass retailer, however, told Hollywood Crush that those claims are not true. “That article is a fabrication,” the Target spokesperson said. “The collection is moving forward as always intended. We’re continuing to work with The CW and ‘Gossip Girl,’ and the four main characters will continue to serve as the muses for the Anna Sui for Target collection.”
Let’s think back again to the beginning of season two where Vitamin Water sponsored the premiere episode? Well, it looks like it’s more than just a clothing line, they are sponsoring the season premiere of season three. Also, the official Target/Anna Sui commercial will premiere during the hour episode of Gossip Girl.
The line will continue as talked about where each girl has their own branch of the clothing line. You can buy your favorite designs starting September 13th at Target stores!
