It’s been well noted that Dan is going to hook up with at least two girls in the first half of the season. Yes, those promos are not deceiving us, Dan and Georgina will have a hook up, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to last for long because Georgina will be hooking up with lots of guys (which is something we learned from last week’s spoilers)! We also learn that Georgina doesn’t come in on the season until episode two of the season.
Plus, Dan is courting Olivia Burke (Hilary Duff) who is a famous movie star who has starred in some Twilight-like saga. Olivia is just trying to live a normal life and likes that Dan doesn’t really recognize her. And apparently, Olivia will be staying around for a while. (Could that be the end of a three episode pod?)
Vanessa and Dan are in their element at NYU, but Blair is like a fish out of water. These are not the people that she’s use to and she struggles with that. But have no fear Chuck is going to be by her side this season helping her through every unbearable moment!
And then there’s Jenny. Remember 2.09 – There Might Be Blood where Jenny was on the road to hitting it big as a fashion designer and then the story dropped off the radar? Well, Stephanie Savage said this is part of Jenny’s storyline that will be resurfacing and will become and even bigger story line as the season progresses. We are also going to see Jenny struggle with the power she has been given. She’s a junior now which is where Blair and her minions started, so we can expect great story lines for Jenny this year.
