This week on Gossip Girl we learn that Dan isn’t just competing, he’s winning. In an effort to prove Serena wrong, Blair decides to spend the whole day with Dan. Instead of learning that they are just friends, she learns that Dan loves her for her which leaves Dan open to manipulation and scheming by Chuck. Blair is confused about her feelings and again asks Chuck to wait for her until she can figure her feelings out. Meanwhile, the Rhodes family is going through a crisis. CeCe is now dead and the truth about Chivy is out. But what will happen next because Ivy’s intentions were not all bad. Lola wants nothing to do with Rhodes family after finding out the truth, but that doesn’t mean she’s staying away from Nate.

So Scandalous
- Blair admitting she is actually married. So she’s married, but we never get to see Prince Louis again?
- Chivy finally has to spill the beans after Chola starts to figure things out. Did you expect more from this story? We have a feeling this is only the beginning of what is to come!
- Chuck back to his scandalous bad boy ways. It’s not fair for Chuck to pine over Blair forever after she’s off kissing everyone but him.
- Chuck doing what he has to do to get his revenge on Lonely Boy. What will Chuck do with the information of Dan sending in the video to Gossip Girl?
- Chuck seducing Alexandra to get back at Dan and using a plagiarized story to boot. Chuck was really going in to destroy Dan’s career.
- Blair denying her feelings for Dan and then getting everyone wrapped up in her confusion. Maybe Blair should consider being alone until she can figure things out.
- Serena walking in on Blair breaking her heart once again, Poor S. How can her best friend do this to her?
- Serena wanting to call the cops on Chivy. It’s about time this show reacts to something. But why does she want to start calling the cops now. She didn’t call the cops on Gabriel or her dad or Tripp or Juliet…why call on Chivy?
So Sweet
- Chuck Bass wooing the lady he had a thing with. Even though it was with a scarf that was meant to send Dan a signal!
- Dan and Rufus spending time together talking about Blair and fashion. Wasn’t Rufus’ jack hideous, yet so Rufus?
- Lola and Nate spending time together. How sweet will Lola become a series regular in season 6?
- Gossip Girl still has a spotted map, who knew?
- The Upright Citizens Brigade reading of Inside was perfect. Everything about this screamed Gossip Girl and a great way to show support for New York City. Plus, there was talk of headbands.
- Serena, Carol and Lily all have a scene together. All that’s missing is CeCe, sucks she has to kick the bucket.
- CeCe died. That’s not sweet but it was nice that Chivy spent the time to take care of her and be there for her. And even after her secret was exposed, she still wanted to be there for CeCe. Chivy’s intentions were not all bad.
- Finally a reference to Blair being a powerful woman, like will she ever be a powerful woman again.
- Dan actually standing up for himself with Blair. He’s played her lap dog way too long. It was good to see him actually stand up and say exactly what he wanted from her.
- Yes, Serena, Max was telling the truth. You remember, if only here was here to say I told you so.
- Blair tells Serena she is her family. But where has her family been all season long?
- Lola and Nate having sleepovers. Are these people even dating yet? But it’s nice that Nate is giving her a shoulder to lean on when she needs one.
So Not Real
- Don’t you think Prince Louis would want to keep tabs on his indentured servant aka wife in Monaco? Why isn’t she there getting to know her “people”?
- Dan actually knows something about fashion? I guess so he did intern at W for that hot minute.
- B and S arguing over Dan. Who thought this day would seriously come? BFFs over boys should be their motto.
- Nate and Blair are actually in the same scene and don’t even acknowledge each other. Why must the writers do this to us?
- As if Blair would actually have some 11th hour moment about Dan during a reading of Inside? And where did this mystery essay contest come from? Why haven’t we heard much about this before?
- Dan thinks he is actually winning against Chuck. No one can scheme like Chuck Bass, except Blair Waldorf.
- Carol Rhodes wanted to protect her daughter Charolotte (Lola) Rhodes from awful people…and money. But wouldn’t Lola jump at the fact that she has family and maybe want to get to know them instead of being completely rude to Serena. Serena just wanted to have coffee but Lola thought that was the worst thing in the world.
- Blair has feelings for Lonely Boy after loving Chuck more and more every day, really?
- Serena actually giving Blair her blessing for Dan. Would Serena actually do this? And would Blair actually think it was ok for her to continue on with Dan like that? Especially since you know, Blair is married to a PRINCE but still MAKING OUT with Dan in PUBLIC! Where is Gossip Girl now?
- Carol wouldn’t have been allowed to stay at the hospital after this big decieving reveal about her real daughter and fake daughter. I understand that CeCe was dying, but there was a huge betrayal going on here. Plus, Serena said she was going to call the cops on Chivy but not on her aunt? Does this make sense?
- Chivy finally deciding to call Georgina. Why call now? Especially since last episode you didn’t even remember who Georgina was. Any real person who would have done some black mail situation like this would have been hi-tailing it out of town…to Europe or Mexico!
