GOSSIP GIRLLast week Vanessa told Charlie she’d been carrying around more secrets than Julian Assange and this week it seems like Vanessa got the WikiLeaks treatment, because she’s off the show. And remember Jenny Humphrey, she’s been replaced by Charlie Rhodes.

Fans can’t be surprised by this news because Jenny has been MIA since December and Taylor Momsen has made numerous comments has she’s over Gossip Girl and just wants to focus on her music. And Jessica Szhor, who is a mighty fine actress, just got the short end of the stick by playing Vanessa Abrams. Vanessa, she was a great character, but there was literally no where to go with her character and the Gossip Girl writers ended up writing her into a hole. There have been some good moments, but lately Vanessa has just been spreading her ISH around and not making Gossip Girl fans happy.

Yes, Gossip Girl will move on a survive from not having these characters and hopefully Jenny and Vanessa will still make some appearances around the UES, but it’s sad to see characters from season one being written out the show. But it’s no big deal really, right? Who should fans be worried about next? Could Nate Archibald be next? His story lines have been floating on the perimeter for almost two seasons.

Last night we got a sneak peak of Charlie’s craziness, so how do you think she will fit in with the cast? What type of storyline would you like to see Charlie involved in? And where will the story go not that everyone knows she has some bi-polar problem?
