This week on Gossip Girl we saw Jenny struggle with the power she’s been given. Do you think Jenny can rule Constance and still be herself? Or will Jenny need to make some changes to hold her throne?

I think it won’t be a problem for Jenny to rule Constance and be “herself” because herself isn’t that different from the Queen B – Blair she replaced or the other mean girls. Remember season 1 Jenny? Who lied, stole, disrespected her father and turned so quickly on her “friend” Blair as soon as she saw the opportunity to be let “in”? When she dumps yogurt on your head, you know she’s serious …

She might have her nicer moments, and because she was on the outside last year, developed some sort of conscience about how to treat people, but we saw how quickly she reverted to her “in crowd” ways last episode. She was born to be Queen, and not a new, nicer queen, exactly the type of queen Blair and the other mean girls knew Jenny would be – a queen just like them.

Don’t get me wrong, I love jenny, I love that she is a bit of an outsider with a slight “voice of reason” about her, but Blair had that too. What is the difference between the way Jenny acted towards Vanessa at the Snowflake ball (coming up with a mean revenge scheme, and then changing her mind two minutes too late) and what Blair did to haze Miss Carr (coming up with a mean revenge scheme, and then changing her mind an hour too late)? There really isn’t one. Jenny isn’t going to have trouble balancing the power of Queen and her personality because they reconcile so easily. Even turning on her one TRUE friend (and now step-brother) Eric isn’t new, she did that in season 1 too, all so she could grab more power and popularity.

I think the part of her which wants to be queen was always there, just like in season 1 when she was doing everything she can to climb up the social ladder. Now that she’s given the opportunity of course she’ll take it, like Jonathan said ‘the mask is becoming her face’. She’s already turning on Eric, the one friend she actually had through both seasons past, it’s only a matter of time before she turns into a new Blair or even worse….at least when Blair’s being a bitch, she doesn’t lie and try to act like a friend.
By the way, I really hate Jenny’s outfits in this season….especially those fishnet tights, it’s really prostitute-esque…

I’m not sure about that, I can just stick to what Chuck said in ‘dan de fleurette’ about the little girl from brookyln.
but surprisingly i am enjoying jenny being bitchy…
