Taking the time to develop characters and fitting them into the storyline is what is most important. Seems like hooking him up with Vanessa is a way to keep him around for some time. I think they kind of had to put him on the show once they started the whole "gasp secret not-dead love-child" plotline. I feel like I should be excited about him coming on, but at the same time I'm not really sure. I just keep going back to when they added Aaron to the show (epic fail =P), so until his story arc really starts actually including him, I don't really know what to think about him joining the show for realsies. =) Hm… I think they kind of had to put him on the show once they started the whole “gasp secret not-dead love-child” plotline. I hope this is not the case. A new regular character might be what this show needs to hop out of the sophomore slump. Lets hope the writers can give him some good stuff.
