They aren’t. It’s actually Rufus and Lily’s relationship that will be in a very bad place until the end of the season. From what I understand, it all stems from a letter that Serena’s father is going to send her. And of course, it doesn’t help that Bart Bass is back in the mix!

Trouble in paradise for Lily and Rufus?…..hmmm, I was quite pleased watching them as a happy couple that finally got married after 20 years, but I guess a little trouble never hurts. I just hope they won’t bring Dr Van der Woodsen back and have Lily contemplate her relationship with him and her relationship with Rufus, that plot is kinda dumb….and until the END of the season, I don’t think I like that much of drama between Lily and Rufus.
I just hope Josh Swartz isn’t going to try to recycle his Valley Girls plotline. I’m happy with the way Lily and Rufus briefly appear in the episodes.
