“The are far from over,” one insider tells me. “I don’t see them breaking up this season at all.”
No breaking up at all this season? That sounds like Gossip Girl fans are going to see a “real” relationship play out in a teen drama. That doesn’t happen very often so it should make for interesting television.
And then there is Serena and Nate! Could it actually happen?

According to insiders, there’s definitely something between N and S in the works. However, looky-loos in NYC tell us Blake Lively (Serena) was filming with another high-society cutie all day yesterday at the Empire Hotel: Aaron Tveit, who plays Nate’s cousin Tripp Archibald.“Serena and Tripp run into each other at the elevator of Chuck’s Empire Hotel and take the elevator together,” the onlooker tells us.
Isn’t Tripp married though? Yes, it’s politics and affairs happen all the time, but it might be time to finally see Serena and Nate together. They could be the next Chuck and Blair and maybe we could find out a little more about their past and what would make them such a strong couple for the future.
