Taylor Momsen wants to jam out

Taylor Momsen’s band The Reckless plans on hitting the road in April when the Gossip Girl set takes a break from filming. She says the group will release an album, but they will indeed hitting the road.

And the star insists the group is one of her greatest passions: “I do write it (the songs) all 100 per cent myself. I’m the lead singer and I play guitar and I totally oversee it. It’s a huge passion and totally important to me. It’s really exciting and probably not what people are gonna expect. Kinda dark, a little bit heavier – but we have our lighter, fun stuff too.”

I think that’s weird and I don’t know if I’m interested in hearing any Taylor Momsen music; I don’t even want to see her on the show sometimes. It seems to me that she’s trying to take advantage of the little bit of fame she has from this season. I guess she continued her star to rise after the first season, but the writers kind of stalled that rise. I guess we’ll have to see what kind of music she is producing here before I make some snap judgments.
