Win Gossip Girl Inspired Bracelets For TGAD’s Birthday

Can you believe it?  TGAD is turning 4!  Thanks for all your continued support of the podcast and Gossip Girl.  Every year we like to give out something to our loyal listeners and Gossip Girl fans and this year will be no different.  Gossip Girl is all about fashion and accessories so we thought this year we would give you something to wear.  A couple of days ago I took to twitter to ask you guys what you thought the characters favorite colors are to have a great giveaway.  This year TGAD is giving out handmade (by me, Angela) leather wrapped Gossip Girl themed bracelets.  The bracelets can be worn individually or stacked (which is the way I prefer).  One lucky TGAD winner will win the the stack of bracelets pictured below.

How To Win:

All you need to do is comment on this post and tell us what you think the tagline for Gossip Girl season 5 should be.  The most creative and well explained tagline will win.  Judges will be Angela, Melissa and Brittany from TGAD podcast. This contest is open to all residents (as long as it doesn’t cost me a ton of money to send your the bracelets). The contest will end September 12, 2011 at 11:59 EST. No duplicate entries.  Duplicate entries may cause disqualification from the contest.

    I think This Upcoming Seasons Tag Line Should be ” THE UNEXPECTED”
    I think This should be because
    1) We dont know Who or what to happen With the Pregnancy and how this will effect the characters
    2) If Blair will Go Through with The Wedding
    3) What will Happen when Dan’s book gets Published
    &
    4)What i would most like to be Unexpected by the most is Finding out WHO GOSSIP GIRL REALLY IS?!

    So many Questions and Yet we can totally be UNEXPECTED by how it really turns out. I hope the Gossip Girl Writers do a great season because we don’t know if this will be the last season for Gossip Girl. I am A Huge Hard Core Fan and i hope the Writers will Bring it this Season.

    Here are some taglines I came up with :)

    - A baby, a wedding, a deadly book: GG’s definitely got me hooked.

    - A baby, a wedding, even a book: Oh mama, now that’s some drama!

    - A book, a wedding, a mystery mama: stop with the salsa, this is hot drama!

    -Some 3 way lovin, a bun in the oven= smirkin’, yellin’, and maybe some cryin’… GG’s returnin’ ;)

    My tagline is : ROYAL FLUSH
    I’ve made a little poster to go along with my entry which I’ll send along through the contact section.
    This is my tagline since at start of this season we find our Queen B stuck between two guys. Louie thinks Chuck is a royal pain in the Bass and I’m pretty sure Chuck (along with many fans) would like to flush Louie.
    Whichever suitor B chooses I hope this season a winner. I’m looking forward to many interesting discussions on TGAD.

    The Good. The Bad. And the Ugly…wait, no, they don’t do ugly on the UES. Gossip Girl, returns September 26 (Because you barely ever see ugly people on GG, bar Aaron Rose and Vanessa’s closet)
    Old Chuck, Bad Chuck, New Chuck, Good Chuck. Gossip Girl: Life’s too short for a slow connection (Play on the gossip which inter connects the characters on the show)

    Hey, here’s some more I wrote . I just really really really want those bracelets LOL :D Please consider that I wrote all of these in Gossip Girl’s voice, because I imagined them being said in the show. (:

    Pop the bubbly, people! There’s a lot to celebrate this year. (in GG’s voice)

    Yes may be the new word of choice for most of our Upper East Siders, but one Queen B is having the urge to say no. (Also in GG’s voice. Because in the new promo, everyone is saying yes, but there’s spoilers that Blair is having second doubts about marrying Louis).

    The Good, The Bad, and The…wait, no, we don’t do ugly around here.

    Wait. So S is planning to move to LA? N is hitting on a cougar? C is jumping off a building? D wrote a book? B is getting married? XO.

    They say it’s easy to forget your troubles when the weather’s warm. But all it takes is one fall breeze to blow reality right back in your face.

    What do you get when you combine the lives of a bunch of really hot people? A Gossip Girl Blast every 5 minutes, that’s what.

    Yoko Ono once said that as summer passes one remembers one’s exuberance. Then I guess we’ll be having enough memories to last our whole lives.

    John Ed Pearce once said that “Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to.” Well he must have lived in an extremely boring place, because I for one know that I would never leave this city.

    Bill Watterson once said ‘It seems like once people grow up, they have no idea what’s cool.’ Uhm, sure they don’t. I’m sure when I’m as old as he was, I’ll still be bringing in the gossip like a fisherman who doesn’t know what it him.
